(Nepean-Carleton) – On Wednesday May 13^th Nepean-Carleton MPP Lisa MacLeod hosted the grand opening of her new constituency office that drew over 200 people from the community.

“It was a terrific day, and I’m very excited about the new office,” said MacLeod. “I want to make sure that everyone knows that we still offer the same services and we are here to help the residents of Nepean-Carleton.”

In addition to the grand opening of the new community office, there was the singing of the national anthem by the Little Scholars Montessori, a parade by all the local Legions, a free BBQ and pizza party, and the now famous street hockey game.

There were many community leaders on hand to welcome MacLeod to her new office, including

• Councillor Jan Harder
• Reverend Martin Carnaghan, Chaplan at Barrhaven Legion
• Pastor Shawn Ketcheson, Trinity Bible Church,
• Reverend Adrian Auret, Knox Presbyterian Church
