London - Ontario PC MPPs Lisa MacLeod, Toby Barrett and Bob Bailey were in London today to call on Dalton McGuinty to finally give Ontario families the respect they deserve and the relief they need.

The Tories drew a contrast between their party and the McGuinty government that has failed to respect that Ontario families pay the bills while they wait longer for government services and see their tax dollars wasted on sweetheart deals, lavish expenses, consultants and needless bureaucracy. MacLeod, Barrett and Bailey also talked about this government growing so out of touch they think families have an endless ability to pay for their tax, fee and price hikes.

In the next election, Ontario families will have a clear choice between the tax and spend McGuinty government that is out of touch with families' needs, and an Ontario PC Government that will respect that families are the ones who pay the bills and offer real relief to Ontario families so they can catch up.

• To date, Dalton McGuinty's 14 regional LHIN bureaucracies have diverted $250 million in healthcare spending away from frontline care, handed out $7 million in sole-sourced consulting contracts, and wasted $250 million on an Aging at Home strategy that failed province-wide to reduce long-term care and alternate-level-of-care wait times.
