NEWS:

Niagara Falls Liberal MPP Kim Craitor has broken away from Dalton McGuinty and his Liberal Party and admitted he does not support Dalton McGuinty's HST on hydro bills. After months of grumbling behind closed doors, Craitor becomes the first Liberal MPP to publicly break ranks with Dalton McGuinty on the HST.

In an interview this week Craitor told media, "Let me say, this is Kim Craitor the person talking, that I do not approve having the HST on hydro bills".

For almost two years, Tim Hudak and the Ontario PC Caucus have been defending Ontario families and fighting Dalton McGuinty's HST tax grab.  Since Dalton McGuinty's HST tax grab came into force this past summer, Ontario families have been paying more for everyday expenses like hydro, gas, airline tickets, haircuts and dozens of other goods and services.

QUOTES:

"Ontario families have been telling Dalton McGuinty for almost two years that they cannot afford his HST tax grab.  I'm not surprised Liberal MPPs don't like the HST either."

--Lisa MacLeod, Ontario PC MPP for Nepean - Carleton
