For Immediate Release "Dalton McGuinty needs to take every step in his power and dedicate the full resources of the Premier's Office to recover the money wasted in the eHealth scandal," said MacLeod. "A billion dollars that went to Liberal-friendly consultants was meant for Ontario patients." On February 25, 2010, the Ottawa Hospital was forced to cancel surgeries due to a 105 per cent overcrowding capacity. The situation is getting worse for the Queensway Carleton Hospital as it faces a 113 per cent overcrowding occupancy crisis. "Mr. McGuinty needs to have some uncomfortable conversations with his former Liberal staffers like Karli Farrow, former campaign directors like John Ronson, and former ministers like George Smitherman," said MacLeod. "Toronto Liberal consultants got rich off our health care dollars, and our hospitals are being forced to suffer through cancelled surgeries and reduced quality of care. Mr. McGuinty must go after his Liberal family so he can pay back Ontario families and our hospitals." -30- |
