February 9th, 2010 (Barrhaven, ON) - The community of Barrhaven will come together on Saturday, February 20, 2010, to support an orphanage in Haiti run by Manotick resident Grace Agostinho. The event will be hosted by MPP Lisa MacLeod and Barrhaven Councillor Jan Harder and will include an outdoor fun day and concert featuring world renowned rescue worker John Greene, to speak on his rescue efforts in Haiti, and performances by: Amanda Rheaume, Amanda Nantsios, Roshan Karavally and much more! Longfields Davidson Heights students have been hard at work creating artwork inspired by Haiti. The artwork will be on sale in the Atrium, with all the proceeds going to support the orphanage.
