McGUINTY LIBERALS SHUT DOWN PUBLIC HEARINGS ON HST

After spending weeks obstructing public hearings into their record breaking HST tax grab, the McGuinty Liberals have used a procedural trick to prematurely shut down the one Legislative Committee hearing they were required by law to hold. 

Last night, the Liberal majority on the legislative committee looking into Dalton McGuinty’s $3 Billion HST sales-tax Bill used a rare procedural trick that involved fleeing from the committee chamber in order to undermine quorum and shut down any further review of the HST Bill.

The Committee was due to report to the Legislature today.  What other tricks do the Liberals have planned to ram through their $3 Billion tax-grab without any public scrutiny, input or consent?
