MPP MacLeod tells McGuinty Liberals that the time for dithering is over.

QUEEN’S PARK, October 17, 2006 – Nepean-Carleton MPP Lisa MacLeod spoke today in the Ontario legislature and called upon Dalton McGuinty to give the people of Ontario some timelines for all of their promises and announcements.

Yesterday, the Premier alongside the Education Minister announced a new Character Education program with some $2 million in new spending.   However, when asked when this would come into effect, Liberals provided no real answers.

During her statement today MacLeod said, “Ontario never gets a firm date of action from this Liberal government, and it’s starting to wear thin. Whether it’s character education, Caledonia, surgical wait times, property taxes or the municipal review, there is always a commitment but never a follow-through.”

She continued, “Ontario families can’t pay their bills ‘some time in the next few months’, and they can’t put food on the table just when they get around to it.”

Ontario Families can’t do that, why does Dalton McGuinty think he can?
